My mother-in-law is so happy with the carer she gets from Serendip. Her carer comes every week and takes her out shopping in the local village. They have become good friends, and my mother-in-law relies on her for a lot. She has forged a professional relationship of reliability, trustworthiness and above and beyond care while keeping my mother-in-laws pride and dignity intact. We, as a family, are very happy with the service and have recently added in a second day of care as her health declines.

Overall Experience5.0 out of 5 Very good all over the board. Very caring. Time-keeping is excellent, and if late, there's always a good reason for it. Cares age. If you feel sad or low, they will do their best to fix problems for you, and if they can't then, they will go out of their way to be able to help. Well done, Serendip; you are a great team! Always on hand if you need anything/chat about anything from the smallest thing, it counts as far as Serendip is concerned, and nothing is too much trouble for the team to sort. Love you guys to bits 100 per cent out of 100.

Personally, Serendip Care has been excellent. I feel qualified to make this statement because I survived the ‘care’ I received from others who identified themselves ‘care’ agencies. The carers that come to me are all, and without exception, genuinely interested in delivering the high quality of care I require. To be quite honest, this quality can not be taught and can only be described as an inherent quality! It is an intrinsic part of their makeup. It’s in their DNA. In my opinion, and it has to be said, this standard has only been achieved and maintained because management is selective. They hand pick their team. Then lead them. It goes without saying, this standard of excellence is only achieved because management is, in it’s itself, excellent. Finally, for me, as a service user, ‘my’ carers demonstrate a genuine interest. It’s not only because it’s their job, but because it’s their calling. A dedication. I dread the day when through necessity, we part company.

Serendip has been supporting my aunt for several months. During that time, she has come to rely on them for contact, personal care and meals. She is very fond of all of them and trusts them as she knows they will care for her as she needs. As she has declined, the carers have been sympathetic and sensitive. The management of Serendip has been easy to talk to and respond to any update on my aunt's needs. I am very pleased with their service to us as a family.

I asked Serendip to provide care for my good friend about a month ago after looking online at many companies. Serendip has provided excellent care. Nothing is too much trouble for the carers, and they often go above and beyond what is asked. There is great attention to detail, and even more importantly, my friend is listened to and respected. All the requirements I had listed have been noted and carried out. One carer even cuts and dries my friend’s hair. What is excellent too, is that any concerns I might have, are responded to immediately by phone or email. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. I recommend Serendip 100%. Many thanks to you all.

In July 21, I became disillusioned with the then home care providers, and I decided to change. That was a good decision, and for the past 9-months, I have enjoyed the services provided by Serendip. I am particularly impressed with the way they communicate with their client and with a professional attitude from the carers. After each visit, I feel a better person.

As soon as the need for my care was identified by professionals, Serendip made contact with me and visited for an assessment the same day, promptly arranging regular care visits. All visits have been prompt and at a time that suites us. The visiting staff were friendly, knowledgeable and capable. Serendip has been particularly perfect in every way!

What more can I say but give this care company ten out of ten... from calling to arrange care for my dad to having a meeting with the manager the following day, to start his care the next week, the carers in my dad's words are 'angels' and I must say I have seen a change in him, 100 per cent. My 84-year-old father has been receiving care from Serendip for the past 9 months and we have been extremely happy with the quality of care and dignity with which they treat my dad, who has been suffering from memory difficulties. The care team is very responsive and communicate clearly with family members. I also have been impressed by the flexibility and way they always strive to improve the experience of the person they are caring for and accommodate requests.
