Founded in 2018 in Milford on Sea, Serendip Home Care has evolved from a Supportive Branch of Hillyfield Rest Home to a Standalone Provider of Personalised Home Care Services. Now based in Ashley, New Milton, we’re committed to offering a variety of services tailored to Individual Needs, from Personal Care and Meal Preparation to Companionship and More. With over 30 years of Family-run experience in the Care Sector, we pride ourselves on creating Tailor-Made Care Packages at affordable costs, with no hidden charges. Our approach is all about Understanding and Catering to the Unique Preferences and requirements of You and your Loved Ones, ensuring a Compassionate, Person-Centred Experience every step of the way.

Kate Crawford

Kate Crawford

Registered Manager

Kate is our Registered Manager at Serendip Home Care, having joined the team in 2020. She began her career in care in 2008 and has since built over 16 years of experience in the health and social care sector, bringing extensive knowledge and strong leadership to the organisation. Throughout her career, Kate has worked across a variety of roles including Carer, Team Leader, Supervisor, and Deputy Manager. She also previously managed our sister company, Hillyfield Rest Home, further demonstrating her commitment and capability within the care sector. Her experience spans key areas such as HR management, accounting, people management, safeguarding, and quality assurance. At Serendip, Kate leads the team with a hands-on and supportive approach, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. She works closely with both staff and clients, fostering a positive and professional environment while maintaining a strong focus on person-centred care. Kate holds a Level 3 ILM qualification in Management and a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, underpinning her expertise and leadership skills. She is well known and respected within the local community for her dedication to providing outstanding care. Approachable, ambitious, and highly experienced, Kate is a valued leader within Serendip Home Care, and her guidance continues to drive the team forward.

Lynn Parrish

Deputy Manager

Lynn joined Serendip Home Care in January 2020 as a Carer and quickly found the role both fulfilling and rewarding. After spending her first year building strong relationships with clients and gaining valuable experience, she progressed into the role of Care Coordinator, taking on greater responsibility within the team. Lynn holds a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and plays a key role in the smooth running of the office. She is often the first point of contact for enquiries, providing support and guidance to clients, families, and staff alike. Known for her strong organisational skills and attention to detail, Lynn helps ensure that everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. Her thorough approach and keen eye make her the team’s go-to for accuracy—whether that’s maintaining records or even being the office “spellcheck guru.” A steady and reliable presence, Lynn is also known for keeping the team on track and maintaining structure within the office, all while fostering a supportive and positive environment. Outside of work, Lynn enjoys spending time with her family, going on holidays, baking delicious cupcakes, taking part in a variety of activities, and attending music concerts. Lynn is a valued member of the Serendip team, bringing dedication, precision, and a great sense of teamwork to her role.

Jessica Anker

Senior Care Coordinator

Jess joined Serendip Home Care in October 2024, bringing with her over seven years of experience in the care sector. She holds a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and has developed a strong foundation of hands-on experience supporting clients with a wide range of needs. Since April 2026, Jess has progressed into the role of Senior Care Coordinator. In this position, she supports and leads the team of Care Coordinators, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Jess works closely with both the office team and care staff, overseeing care planning, coordinating services, and maintaining high standards of care across the community. Her previous experience as a Care Field Supervisor gives her valuable insight into both the practical and operational sides of care, allowing her to effectively support staff and respond to the needs of clients. Driven by her passion for growth and professional development, Jess continues to play a key role within Serendip, contributing to quality, consistency, and compassionate care delivery. Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending quality time with her husband, their two children, and the family dog. She loves being outdoors and can often be found on long walks with her family. Jess is a valued member of the Serendip team, bringing experience, leadership, and a supportive approach to everything she does.

Dharshika Sivadas

Dharshika Sivadas

Care Coordinator

Dharshika joined Serendip Home Care in July 2023 and has since become a valued and dedicated member of the team. Originally from Negombo, Sri Lanka, she now lives in New Milton and has progressed within the company through her passion and commitment to care. Dharshika currently works as a part-time Care Coordinator, where she is on call and supports management with care plan updates, ensuring each client receives personalised and high-quality support. Helping others is at the heart of everything Dharshika does. She finds the most rewarding part of her role in building meaningful relationships with elderly clients, supporting them in their daily lives, and helping to make each day more comfortable and enjoyable. In her role as Care Coordinator, Dharshika works closely with both clients and staff to maintain excellent standards of care. Her reliability, compassion, and proactive approach make her an important part of the team and the wider community. Outside of work, Dharshika enjoys staying active and creative. She loves baking delicious treats, cooking a variety of meals, and keeping fit at her local gym. Dharshika is proud to be part of the Serendip Home Care team and looks forward to continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of those she supports.
